Spring Sweater!!

Well, made my first sweater for spring!  I think it turned out pretty good!  I used a pattern out of the book Positively Crochet! by Mary Jane Hall, pattern was called Tangerine Top but of course my color is not tangerine!!  Bought satin ribbon and it looked so pretty on there!!

  1. Jessie that is *SO* beautiful!!! Did it come out the right size so you can wear it?? I am so in awe of your talent, I really am. SO gorgeous!!!!!

  2. Yep I got to wear it, yay me!! I'm so glad some of them can size up right! I want to make another now in tangerine! LOL

  3. Hi Jessie,

I followed you here from Scalhints. I LOVE the sweater!!! You did such a great job! :)

I haven't crocheted since I was a kid (my great-grandmother taught me). I so wish you lived closer. I would love to take it up again & I am addicted to paper crafting, too. Would you believe that my favorite movie is When Harry Met Sally? I should have a new favorite by now, but no! That is my all-time favorite! ;)

I saw that you just received a Cuttlebug (I so love their embossing folders-trying not to buy anymore-55's enough, right?!). What fun! Do you have a Cricut & SCAL, too?

I am not online nearly as often as I'd like to be, but hopefully, I'll make it back to your blog...

  4. Very Pretty indeed! I also crochet, but not for a long time. Arthritis makes it hard to do.

  5. Awww thanks guys! Well, I wished you lived closer too, we could be all craftastic together! LOL...too funny I have always loved When Harry Met Sally. Wow! 55 folders..!! I have like 5 I'm missing the other 50 I shall have to get shopping!!!

  6. Beautiful sweater,,,,, can I borrow it some time?
    Love ya, Linda

  7. That is a wonderful sweater! How pretty. I wish that I knew how to do this. My craft seems to be paper only and a few cross stitching pictures. You are very talented.
